Sheet metal intake on BAE Hemi

    So I see these all aluminum fabricated blower intakes for BAE Hemis .... are they better than the standard MAG BAE intake, it looks like they sit up higher do they flow better are the lighter?????

    No there not lighter. Mag is better and lighter. However you have to have the mods done in order for it to work properly. But used mag ones are iffy. They crack. They don't last forever. Some people weld them up but I've been told it's just a quick fix.

    Thanks for you reply, I currently have a MAG intake its all good, I just wonder if a fab intake flows better/more power?

    It should have mods done to it in order for it to be really good. But you want see anyone talk about it openly. Call brad and ask them. It's worth your time.

    are you referring to having mods done to my Current MAG intake?

    Chris, the BAE mag intake you have flows more than enough for your ride & your class, as many still run that on blown TAFC / TAD...with screw blowers, not like the roots you run.
    I'm certainly not holding you back from buying a fancy intake, but you have to decide if this goes in the 'need' dept., or the 'want' dept.
    Just offering a different viewpoint.
