Air Line plumbing

I have always made AN SS hard line or Braided lines for my CO2 pluming for my transmission. Adding some more CO2 lines and looking to use the plastic pushlocks for this application. 90 PSI regulated CO2.
I have no experience with the plastic push lock fittings. Can I get some input on a type or manufacture for the product? Most of the industrial supply companies have the fittings. I see different color rings and bodies and some have a small insert that the ID of the plastic tube fits over..... Just wanting to make the installation and routing easier. I have always stayed away from them because I thought they looked to fragile and unreliable....
Obviously heat and abrasion would be an issue so proper protection and routing is important.

Check out mcamis website. He had a ton of the proper fittings for doing that. Legris makes them all. And your gonna want a tiny flexible one for ruining to all your timers with air. Most use a 3/32 I believe. Or maybe 5/32. And you need a few reducers to get from your trans to those. I found some hoses on eBay but it's to hard to get what you want in the length . Parker or Fastenal carries a lot as well.

Give me call or email me what you may need, I have way, way too many extra fittings, both 1/8th & 1/4, tees / elbows / splits / etc, + all the threaded adapters & lots of 1/8th & 1/4 line.
The push in system works great. We, & T/F guys, have used it for years, perfect to well over 150 psi (that's our limit), never a failure.
Won't cost you much more than shipping.

McMaster Carr has the DOT rated plastic lines and fittings.

 

Further to this question, what size push in lock size hoses do most people use from the shift buttons to the lenco towers.

 

1/4inch air line.

 

go to a peterbilt or freightliner dealer they will have the good airline by the foot or roll

N.A.P.A. sells it the foot or roll It's available in colors if you want to color code lines, Weatherhead I believe makes their supply DOT nylon airbrake
