Your best bet is to get the pump flowed and get a tune up from a reliable source. My suggestion is Spud Miller @ FIE (fuel injection enterprises)
Check out his web site......he has a tune up calculator if you want to play. But it will only be a guess ...because you will be guessing on the pump flow.

I started my blown alcohol days off much like you but after years of my guessing what to run as far as a tune up, and countless wasted passes because A: it was so rich it was sluggish or B: it was too lean and it burnt up pistons, rings, popped the panels, etc that I finally was able to get a handle on things but damn, the dollars and time wasted was too much. It would have been worth it to me to have my stuff flowed and get a baseline tune up suggestion from any reputable injection service. At the time, I thought it was a waste of money. NOW, I realize it was the cheaper and less problematic way to go about it. Live and learn.

Spud is a great guy but he has a lot on his plate nowadays as he does a lot of other things besides fuel systems.
Also, you might want to call Spike Gorr. He is here in Lake Havasu and might give you a little more personalized service and he is one of the best.

If you're happy with your current tune up air density online has a pro calc that you pay a subscription for, if you put in your current fuel settings it works out the air fuel ratio from their you can make your changes and work out what jets you'll need to keep the afr the same.

I also recommend Spike. He got my stuff running good and not eating up parts.

I am surprised your current setup is not on the lean side with a 555 BBC. That is 80 cid more than I had (in 1979) with the same pump, hat, and only a 6-71. Is this a iron BBC?
