New BAE block and heads

    Has any one gotten their hands on the new BAE block with 3.400" spaced lifters and straight pushrods? I am curious how much of a performance gain it will create with the potentially more stable valvetrain.

    I was at BAE last week looking at the BAE ProMod car and it has a new style motor in it. JR was telling me about the new dry sump system in it. Complete integrated billet oil pan/pump with multiple stage scavange, and billet oil pump drive on the front of the engine. Very nice.

    I'll be up there again next week to pick up my new cylinder heads and I'll snap some picks of the engine. I already have a bunch of pictures of the ProMod car, just not the engine. The TAFC of Jay's does not have the new engine.........yet.

    not legal

    The spread bore (over 2" lifter spread) is not legal in NHRA Top Alcohol. It is legal in Pro Mod.
