New Season Starting, First Signs of Detonation?

    Race season starting in 3 weeks, car is ready to go.

    Over the winter, I freshened the motor (rings, bearings), changed the rear gears from 4.29 to 4.86, and lost 200 lbs... now 2625 at end of run weight.

    Going to the track for 1/8 mile runs, then 1/4 for Pro Mod license.

    129 over C on 526, 4.310 x 4.5, Veney fuel head combo. Where will the first signs of detonation show? Header nuts? Intake nuts? I will be leaning and working timing.

    I will also be watching rod bearings.
