leanout on 2step

    i look to install a lean out on transbrake its better to instal before or after barrel valve ? and i began with what size of jets ?hemi coan converter 1471 4500 on transbrake (2 step)

    pull it out before the barrel valve. I take it right off the top of the pump. as for the jet, that depends on how rich it is while on the 2-step. your pump will play into that.

    Have you got a fuel flow sensor? If you do I would start with around 5.5 GPM. If no fuel flow then try an 80 jet. Do you know how much boost you are making on the two step?

    I don't have flow sensor and i don't know how mutch boost .but i have egt drop to near 400.what is the best egt temps on 2 step

    Whats the common setup to measure this?
    1/4" diameter thermocouples, exposed tip, sticking into the zoomie tube by about 1/2"???

    Tips have to be dead center in the tubes

    Are you using 1/8", 3/16 or 1/4"?

    Using standard RacePak probes. Never measured them but would guess 1/8", why do you ask?

    Standard K type sensors are 1/4 inch dia --
