    526 Hemi, roots 20 over. When the car leaves the starting line it's cutting in and out. The motors trying to rev up it gains a little rpm but not clean. Once it shifts into 2nd gear it's fine and takes off. Here's what I've changed but hasn't solved the issue; plugs, plug wires, points box, coil, six shooter module, disconnected TC. The six shooter made the duration of the sputtering shorten but it is still there. Car is ill until it shifts into 2nd gear. Fuel system 6.0 on the 2 step, 10.8 at 8000rpm. Anyone have an idea that would cause this?

    Have you tried just using the mag by itself with no Six Shooter and just use less timing for the test? That would divide the system in half. What about the fuel system. Is there someway it could be going super rich just in first gear?

    Can a flow meter lie? I've tested the fuel mgmt system
    With air going to it to make sure it's doing it's job. If the 2 step switch is hanging up or having a loose wire would that do it ?

    Things I've run into that made the flowmeter lie;
    -a sticky turbine
    -electronic noise
    -air in the fuel system (you will have melted parts also)

    The craziest thkng about this is it cleans up at the shift and pulls like it's suppossed to. 180 to 1/8 and 233 to 1/4 . A/f ratio is 2.67 at finish line

    44 issue

    why not swap the mag in case its got some type of intermittent fault in it related to vibration etc. At least it would eliminate that totally from the equation
