Any thoughts or comments appreciated.. Thought about using air throttle stop on starting line to get away from 2-0step and stop loading the motor with fuell while on the t brake ... Is this very beneficail as far as loading the motor ? Its only loading for couple split seconds ? Thanks lucky jones

    Throttle Stop

    Hey Lucky,
I take it that you are talking about this being on an altered chassis. I am really not a ram injection kind of guy but I would think that as long as the plugs are not fouling or misfiring at launch then I would not worry about it too much. Of course, if you could install a bleed off circuit to bypass excess fuel pressure with a check valve/poppet set at whatever psi works well to keep the cylinder temps us, then I would suggest doing so. If you have a data logger that will answer most of your questions. Without data logging, let the 60' times tell you what works for you.
I still think you ought to put a hemi in it. That being said, I have some options in mind.....
