ignition on veney hemi

    i cant afford the 44 mag right now, would a sm4 or maybe
    an msd10 ign and dist still run this motor on maybe 25-30lbs
    boost

    ran super mag 4 for years 36 -38 degrees timeing no problem!

    MSD-10 with 34#s boost

    I ran a blown BBC and blown hemi at 34 to 36#s of boost with an older 2 coil MSD-10 and the the newer MSD-10 Plus with no problems for 12 years. We got up to 44#s of boost with a newer blower and still ran good and just changed to a 44 amp mag and can probably run richer, and maybe a little safer and just as fast. I actually ran an MSD-6 for a couple of years when finances were worse and ran 4:30s easily in a bracket dragster at 18#s boost. I hope this helps some! Jim

    We ran our Hemi dragster last year a few times with BAE fatheads and a PSI D-screw at 84% using a Mallory Super Mag 4. Never had any issues, just stayed safe with our tuneup and I got my feet wet with driving a blower car.
