I have read that the port size is the difference between these heads. If so what would the difference in port flow be? Does the blower manifolds fit the smaller A/ fuel head ports? Is there any difference in the head volume in CC's?

    Thanks for any help,

    Tom

I know this isn't a direct answer but I can tell you the BAE 6 heads were designed around the pro mod legal valve sizing where as the 8's where made to be used in non limited applications. I know the 8's flow better but I no longer have my numbers on the 8's.

    Hope that helps a little,

    Trev,

    Thanks for the reply.

I was really trying to find out the difference between a BAE 6 alcohol head vs a BAE 6 A/Fuel head, or a BAE 8 alcohol Head vs a BAE 8 A/Fuel head. And if the A/Fuel heads would bolt up to the BAE blower manifold, or you need a custom blower manifold.

    difference

The ports on the new a/fuel heads are quite a bit smaller to increase the velocity for a naturally aspirated combination. This is on the BAE 6 and 8 A/F head.

A blower manifold would bolt to it, but the intake runner would be much bigger than the port on the head.
