Just gave Ken a call to inform him of this thread, he tells me that his hard drive crashed and has been off-line for a few weeks.

He greatfully thanks everyone for their positive comments and asks those interested to continue sending e-mails, he will receive them all when he is up and running which should be tomorrow or there abouts.

Ken also said that the book is currently in re-print and 100's are due in 2 weeks. Orders are coming in thick and fast so 1st in best dressed.

I have Ken's original short story of fuel system tuning and he also setup my blown alky combo, we havent hurt anything due to his settings,we have been running 1050f exhaust temps all the way. I am also waiting for an updated book.

Does that mean we get an updated book if we turn in the old one? hehe I hope the new one has less in house commercials.

Ya know writing a book dose`nt make the writer an expert (and not saying these guys don`t know what there doing) but here in the good old U.S.A. Gene Addams ,Randy Anderson, Don Gerrotto, and Kinsler, are the best, (in my opinion) why send your money to a different country, or do these guys have to write a book, to make the new generation happy, (every one goes to school and reads the same books, yet some still come out stupid. I've heard of enough people who "want to write a book", but don't.
Your right, Randy Anderson, Jeff Fowler, Gene Adams, etc are masters at this. But they also don't have time, but they do have the motivation.

Lets face it, if you are a seasoned racer you probably wont need anyones book and you would more then likely have all of the data you would need anyway, however if you are not and you dont have access to the Guru's and there info it can be very daunting indeed.

If anything Ken's book is great to have in your trailer as a back up and if you get bored during oil downs Leon, you can also flick through the glossy product pictorials.

Well i am 57 years old and are still searching for more answers than questions. So stuff it bouhgt a book from Ken Lowe. That was just the start, great info. Then I came across Bob Szabos writings, 5000 h/p on Methanol, and Fuel Injection racing secrets. Still reading both of those. But i think the real wake up was from Spud Millers Fuel calculator. To put you guys in the picture I am a 13b Rotor nut, Turbo of cource. The difference between a Kinsler Barrel valve and the K type valve that most of you use. What I mean is the fuel pressure between those two valves. But back to the books, they great help if you dont want to spend hours on the phone. Just my 2 cents worth.

    experts

as far as i can tell only manzo doesnt need to read these books. all the other "experts" are using their knowledge only to fill their wallets, and not help the masses, unless you pay them anyway. ive always felt anyone can learn, and no one is born with knowledge. we ALL pick up knowledge from books and life. to say otherwise would prove the drag racing egos are bigger than their brains, and thats more true than anyone would admit. i have just receieved both of bobs books, and they are very interesting to say the least. and NO, i do not know everything about everything. check your egos at the door.

    K. Lowes book

    Right on the money!!!

This IS an ego driven sport,..... please check at door!

I have read all three of the books.

In my opinion, "you can NEVER have too much information!"
