Each time we ran 6 7/8 lbs with M/T's and beadlocks.

How about the "Bubba" tire, 3190 with the stiff sidewall????

    Thinking 6.75 to 7

Hemi, screw, Bradco 400, 1.40 and 4.29 rear at 2700lbs

thank you everyone for the replies. We are switching from the 2055 Hoosiers, car ran .950-.980 almost anywhere.....looking for a little more wheel speed. clutch car, 1.89 low,4.30 rear, 526 hemi-roots. just trying a few new things and want to be close on this as we will be on a limited run basis.
    thanks again,
    Darren

Go with Goodyear N/FC spec tire, it will get up on the tire quickly but doesn't kick them loose @100ft as easliy as the M/T's

Go to tubes and liners and get rid of the beadlocks if you want to increase your wheel speed.

Make sure you measure the rear tire circumferences. Altereds are not very forgiving in that area.
