Some good cars on the outside looking in with one session to go. Tomorrow morning should be quick.

Wonder if some of the AFDs sitting on the outside will have BADs next year?

I in my opinion think a few may change but honestly look at the history they used to run as fast or faster most times.... maybe time to give the AFD guys a little more back to make them competitive again...

According to DRC the air was 4000' except Sunday Q4/E1 and Monday eliminations. In the cooler weather the A-Fuel car has the advantage, just like always. In Bowling Green Kentucky it shows the quickest a-fuel pass was 5.36, blower - 5.37 and those were both in poor air conditions.

Gizmo I agree with you to an extent but if the air was cooler in Indy this weekend Whitely, Demke and maybe a few other would have been in the mid 20s. Havent seen too many AFD in that zone in a while compared to the BAE cars.. They either need to give those guys more Fuel or allow them something to make the two comparable... Hate to see of those guys pack it in and go blowen.

The blown guys were told to go work on your cars to make them better for performance. And so we did. That started with the Supercharger. That is what blower companies worked on for the last several years... to increase the performance of the blower under NHRA specs. Besides the Supercharger, there are better heads, rockerarms, etc that also benefit the blown cars. I see it as a fair playing field. Blown cars have earned their performance within the specs and guidelines of NHRA. Kevin Cantrell/Cantrell Racing Products.
