Msd power grid use capacitor & kill sol?

    Do you guys run a capacitor w/ the 7730 power grid? This is a blown 526 hemi, promag 44. Also is it still a good idea to use the kill relay solenoid? It isn't shown in the power grid wiring diagram w/ the promag 44.

    A capacitor works well. It takes out any noise on the 12 volt power and acts like a battery and keeps the Power Grid going if you lose power. If you put a switch in to shut off power to the Power Grid it will sit off the motor but the switch has to be between the capacitor and the Power Grid.

    So is it necessary to have the shiny kill solenoid to ground out the coil? Or is shutting off power to the grid enough?
