MSD 8973 and Racepak

    When hooking up an 8973 controller can the gray tach output wire be used for the RPM signal on a V300SD?

    Any other tips and tricks to keep an eye on?

    That is the correct wire to use, also you need to soilder a spade on the ground wire & go directly to a studded chassie ground. Crimping a terminal on is no good. (past experience)

    Like sniderracing said the gray wire is the correct way to pick up RPM for the V300sd.

    Also, you must use supression plug wires, no solid core stuff.
