Hoosier 34.5 17 x 16 C2055 tire growth/Clearance??

    Guys and gals,

    Trying to wedge in the above tire in a new chassis I am building. How much distance do I need from the axle centerline to the main cage crossbars for a tire this diameter? Or more directly, with the tire installed and at running pressure, how much forward and vertical clearance is required to not have the tires hitting the tubs. Around 200 in the 1/8 mile.

    I run that tire and based on Racepak DS RPM to MPH comparisons, I'd say the tire grows 4-5" when I go 208-210.

    mine rubbed a little had 4'' clearance @215 mph
