How much would I have to setback a blower before I'd notice a difference ? I'm building a early hemi manifold. Thanks

I'll take a stab at this...

Assuming this blower is full open on the bottom, I'd center this opening directly between the front most intake port and the rearmost intake port.

Beings its standard helix and full opening the air will comeout fairly straight.

Instead of hi/lo helix. think thread pitch (corse/ fine) and the nuts axial speed per rev.

    Manifold

Forget the blower placement and instead work on the blower . End of rotors plugged, open front end frame by rotor, angle the inlet opening, inlet shoe, rotor end clearance, spacer with divider, etc. Boost will find its own way. Our setback blower has the same piston heights as with a standard manifold . barrypaton@rogers.com

I have, but mine is BBC, high helix, 8-71 and its open to the front of the rotors, its a modded F-2 SSI. The air comes out at 10° on this one.
