We were running a 3 speed lenco but switched to a 2 sp using the shaft eliminator. This winter we want to eliminate the extra case but the main case is apparently .200" too short so the shaft coming out of the reverser bottoms out in the main case before the two come together. Anyone run into this and made a spacer to fix? Or do I have to buy a true 2 sp case?

I made a spacer for our two speed as well. Does this mean you will be selling your shaft eliminator? I don't know what is so secret about the spacer that everyone is pm'ing you instead of posting it so everyone can benefit.

No real secret. I made it .5 inches thick, and counterbored it 0.300 deep so the case is .200 longer. The trick is, you have to spin the case in the lathe to turn the od of the case to the same id as the counterbore in the spacer. That is more than a lot of racers are capable of (dont have a lathe that big, maybe). Worked ok for us.
