We have a BAE fathead hemi w/ 14-71 k11 that we are just geting up and going. I was told that the ngk 6061-10 was the best plug. I was also told that guys are running the ngk b9es also. We are loking for good solid reliable power.Cost is a major issue! My question is how much of a power and fuel difference is there from one plug to another. Thanks

First you should be comparing B10ES so theater both the same heat range. The only differences between plugs is price and length of the ground strap. The 6010 plug has a shorter ground strap so it is safer if you push the limit too much. The) B18es is about $1.90 each and the 6010 is close to five bucks each. They read the same for tuning. I. Am using the B10ES plugs in two cars now without a problem.

Mike we use the R5671-10 mostly and the 6010-10 when we are really leaning on the tuneup. I was told those two plugs are about 1gpm difference. The 6010 can go 1gpm leaner. This is for a screw/wedge application.
I haven't got a lot of runs on the combo but the 5671's do seem to need more fuel to keep the cad happy.
Does it make any sense to try the B10 type? They are priced close to the R5671.
