Just wanted to let everyone know that the LODRS event at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, AZ will also be a regional event for the TAD/TAFC competitors. This is an addition to the Western Region schedule and will take place February 25-26. More details will follow next week.

    Great to hear

Good to hear there's another race on the schedule....I just hope the "more info" isn't another race dropping us.

Randy it was just that the release would be out within a week (which it wasn't).

For those that haven't seen the ad yet in last weeks digger...

Test and Tune for all classes on Wednesday.

Thursday is time trials and qualifying for Comp down (no TAD or TAFC runs)

Friday is eliminations for Comp down. TAD and TAFC will be offered a test and tune on this day with two designated sessions at 2 and 5PM. This is pay to play testing. Runs will be made side by side and lanes will be designated if need arises.

Saturday will have qualifying sessions at Noon and 4PM

    Sunday eliminations

Any questions, contact division office or track.

I guess I'm a little behind. TAD and TA/FC get just two qualifying sessions now?

    Thanks, Mike:

    Clint,

The divisional is a double event. Alcohol will only be racing the second event on Sat/Sun. And per my e-mail's with Chuck Sunstrom to try and get things in order for the Tom Yancer Race Race BBQ out at the track, Alcohol cars will not be permitted to park until Friday morning.

Tough to test on Wednesday if you can't park until Friday? The post says testing on Wednesday. I am mostly interested in the two qualifying shots. Is that going to be the norm or is this a Phoenix track deal?

    Hi Clint:

Mike's post above says we get two test-n-tune runs on Friday. Is there testing on Wednesday, too?

"Two at each event at this point."

That is the answer I just got from Mike Rice when I e-mailed him. HTH!
