I know they say to not back bend a Gates Poly Chain belt......BUT......Has anyone actually tried this with either good or bad success? Maybe the belt life is just slightly shortened? Thanks.

We ran Gates 1694-75 and 1694-75ps belts back bent on Arias 10L engines for years with no issues. Hope this helps.

Is the Poly Chain a Kevlar belt? Kevlar is the only type I've ever hear that couldn't (or shouldn't) be back bent.
