Fire bottles

    Going to need 2 10lb. Fire bottles for my altered..i have a friend that is very good friends with a person that services fire extensioner at local shops and also the fire systems that is on the haul trucks at mines...is there a differance between say the fire fox bottle and the ones this person would have? Why i'm asking is think i can get 2 bottles from him cheap or maybe free..

    Bottles must be DOT approved and SFI approved. The Tag is everything.

    on rule book nhra .All front-engine, openbodied
    supercharged or turbocharged (gasoline or methanol) cars
    running 7.49 seconds or quicker must be equipped with an SFIrated
    20-pound fire system.

    put me fire out

    nhra has a approved agent list also, make sure you dont get the wrong stuff. they are changing this list a lot, so be aware of what is legal and what is not.
