What is the maximum allowable leakage for an Enderle fuel shutoff? Just curious at what point a rebuild is necessary. Thanks.

Do you mean leakage out the return side when it should not be? none
A seal kit won't fix that.
I had one in here last week off of a un-maintained puller. I normally don't put a line on the "off" side. It spit out a bunch of fuel, acting like a pump sizer. It was old but the real problem was that it previously had as much dirt running through the system as was hanging on the outside. The inside looked like it just came back from Iraq. Badly worn by abrasion.

as far as leakage are you talking as in if it is shut off any fuel getting buy the spool? if so none it is in the bypass...when to rebuild? I always carry all the orings to do mine and when it starts to leak i rebuild it also carry a extra shut off in the trailer incase it is a time crunch we just swap it out..Dave
p.s. always keep orings for your B-vale also and remember they are not you typical orings
you can get them at enderle or good vibrations or RBS...cheap insurance;)

I decided to cap the ends a put a gauge on the shutoff and blow shop air in it to see if there is any leakage past the spool in either direction. I saw a small leakage of 5-10 psi and was wondering if that was normal, if I needed an oring rebuild, or if I needed to purchase a new shut off thats all. The shutoff is several years old. Thanks.

O-rings only stop it from leaking fuel to the outside, as in dribbling onto the ground. Internal leakage is when the spool and/or housing bore are wore too much.
