If anyone is looking to go the Automatic route, I have some really great input. Currently, we started running an Automatic this year and we decided to go with the B&J Quick Drive. Let me tell you one thing, words can not explain how happy we are with the unit. There are alot of great products out there, but hands down this is one of the most consistent and user friendly pieces we have ever used. It adapts to your B&J Tranny or even your Lenco CS1 or 2. It has amazing flow volume, and runs extremely cool. It's air activated tranny break works flawless, not to mention when you pull the chutes in the shutdown, the engine winds down with its reverse bearing set-up. Can not recommend a better deal, and we have tested others last year, and this is a true winner.

We have attached this unit to a ProBell Bellhousing, which has also proved to be an awesome product, lighter than a Titanium can! Has a easy access lid to stick your blower in and cool the converter right down.

And to top off our experience, LAT Racing Oil has developed a state of the art converter oil which runs extremely cool. It has an amazing shearing point and after trying a few different kinds, you could put your hand on the converter and tranny after a run without getting burned. We shot the converter pan and lines with a temp gun, and it was only at 150 degs, which we know from experience is a TON cooler than anything else we have ever used.

For the first time out with the converter, our 60' to 660' numbers were good enough to run in the 5.80's if we didn't have a bad ignition problem after the 1/8 mile. We were very satisfied.

The reason I am posting this is because a few months back, I sat in this very chair wondering if we would choose the right products for what we were trying to do. You read all sorts of posts with different opinions, and at the end of the day, you hope to get the truth. I can give you our word, these products above are hands down exactly the perfect products if you are going that route, not even a question asked.

Question. How much air pressure are you running to the trans brake? I just had mine converted from a hydraulic unit to air. I have heard both 250lbs and 300lbs. ?
Where do I get a regulator that can run both trans shifting and brake. I already have two tanks and don't want to install another.
One tank operates the transmission 400lbs.
Other tank operates the air shifter and throttle control 125lbs.
    Now another at 250-300lbs ?

    High Pressure Air

You might want to think about a single tank with the required regulators connected to the tank instead of more than one tank each having it's own regulator. Save a little weight and only one bottle to recharge. That idea ought to be worth at least .03

We always just used an inline regulator. We run 1 bottle with the 400 lb regulator on it, the tee into that and run an inline regulator to any other components we run that require air. I'm pretty sure Mike or Jeff can get you what you need. No need for multiple bottles.

That's what I would like to do but how? Hi pressure fittings in the regulators are left hand thread. So running them out of a tee would be tough.

ACD amongst others. Most folks that do throttle stops can hook you up too.

How would the B&J Quick Drive stack-up against a Lencodrive with all of the bells & whistles? Both with a CS2 behind? Pros? Cons?.......
