Last year I tried using a cheap import portable blower to cool the clutch. I did not have enough power to do the job. I need suggestions on a brand and size. I don't want to use a leaf blower, they are to noisy.

Are you looking to cool it with the can still on?

Blower / fan for cooling the clutch.

Here are several suggestions that we have used that have all worked.

A fan from a Blow up bouncy Castle, or promotional display item like displayed around the tracks, You can use a longer plastic hose from the fan to the bellhousing, We made a another cover plate for the bellhousing which the hose connects too, with the longer hose fan can sit back out of the way of the car, we use 240 volt one out here but you would be able to get 110 volt ones in america. Check out ebay you will also get the Bouncy castle with it at a reasonable price. Good for when car on display promotioning our sport.

Have also used a 12 volt blower fan from a car which we made a mount to bolt to where the clutch cover plate mounts.

We also use the bouncy house blow up fan. Keep rotating the clutch for even cooling.

we just use a electric leaf blower. The plastic exhaust tube can easily be squeezed into the adjustment opening. Hook it up and run the valves, by the time your done it's cooled down pretty good. If you want a fast cool down, it's more money but check with G Force Race Cars. They have a potable a/c unit that works great.

    blow me

this is the one bickle sells http://www.bestbuyerdiscounts.com/s...NexTag_BBD_236_NexTag_BBD_442622_00_*GeoUSCA* its cheap, but watch it, they tried to tag me for 20.00 extra after the fact for some fancy fee for nothing, but i got it reversed easily by calling them. also http://www.cartools.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=LASK6104947&Category_Code=SV also http://www.harborfreight.com/8-inch-portable-ventilator-97762.html this one i got from harbor freight and its very good for the price. they sell a 8inch ducting also, but i would make an adapter to goto 3inch from the head. look at the cfm on the blowers, thats the clue to it all. both are pretty quiet and not near as wicked noisy as a leaf blower. i kinda like the laska one, you can set it on its back under the car and cool the converter from underneath as well. makes bickles seem a little on the high side doesnt it?
