Having a problem with an Indy blower manifold not quite fitting a TFX and AJPE stage 2 heads. All std. deck height stuff (I’m positive of this). The manifold sits about .030”-.040” high, so you can still see some intake port o-ring material in the intake runners when the manifold is seated. Anyone have a similar experience? If so, how did you solve it?

And your sure the block hasn't been decked or the heads cut, if not call Chris at AJPE or Indy cyl heads could just be a mistake in machining that slipped through

The heads have been run before with a different std deck manifold, with no issues, so I'm sure they are right. This manifold is new, but has been passed around since it was bought from an Indy dealer. I'll give them a call, but the last guy that had it had the same issue and he said that Indy Head was no help with this. Chris would help if it was his mistake, but Indy??? I don't know a sole there.

When you call Indy, have the manifold there so you can give them some measurements, if they still won't help you,( but they probably will) Chris can probably help you by cutting the manifold correctly, good luck I know this kind of thing is a pain in the a$$

    Indy

My experiance with Indy Cyl Heads has been, there machine work sucks and you have to fit the stuff yourself. If you call them you have about a 50% shot they will help you, they can be great to deal with but that dont happen very often.

    Howdy....

I have a new ( unused second hand) Indy Manifold for a Big Block with Big Chief heads, It is way to wide, I assume that they supply them like that to be machined for either gaskets or O rings??? Any one know

    Cheers Pete
