NOTE: 1) This is not really concerning alcohol, but i figured if anyone would know it would be you guys and 2) i'm also having trouble finding hard-core drag sites.

Do you know anyone who sells an altered chassis with a narrower front track/narrow front frame width?

For example, here is what i believe to be a Jerry Fritz chassis:

But i don't think Jerry Fritz is building cars presently.

Fully welded would be nice, but kit form would be ok too.

Don't care if chromoly or mild steel. Prefer solid mount rear axle, but not ruling out suspended.

Now, the narrow front is probably going to be tight---will probably limit engine mounting; No big deal---i can use an electric pump. And positioning---will limit how far up/back in the chassis the engine can be positioned due to the frame getting narrower and narrower as it gets to the front. AND/OR actual engine choices----may have to go inline but i was actually planning on doing that eventually anyways; i am originally planning on "just" running brackets, but then possibly branch out into comp. i'm willing to live with all the "disadvantages" because i really dig the narrow front design.

P.S. willing to go to 150"+ wheelbase if it makes going narrow up front easier. However, i would prefer to stick with 125"ish due to storage and trailer concerns.

i realize i'm asking alot-----getting that narrow up front with only 125" inches to work with, but i believe it can be done as evidenced above and other fleeting sightings.

Hi Kurt. i noticed you are in NJ which is good because it's not mega far from me. i like what i see at your website. i might PM(if that's even available here) or contact you via your site to possibly further discuss plans etc. This may take a few days though.

    2) Thanks for posting the Spitzer links/pictures etc. This might work. i'm generally looking for something as narrow as the Fritz chassis pictured above though.

Any time, I build allot of comp cars which are "class specific". And if you are doing a Bantam body I have a 2-piece body available. Makes for servicing the clutch or trans a snap, especially if you run a wing.
