Ok guys, I have a question for those of you who have ran both. We are building a 500" alky Hemi. Were limited to a 871 blower and an enderle 110. other than that its fair game. We currently have a Mallory Super Mag 4 that we ran on our 370 sbc. It worked fine for what we were asking of it. But this year we are pushing harder and bigger. My question is at what point is the Mallory going to start getting lazy or to "small"? Are we spending our money for nothing by going to the MSD 44? Any Help, imput, or past experiences would be great.

And what does Mallory have that moves timing like a six shooter? They don't even have a decent rev limiter.

put a promag 12 in it and you'll never have to work on the ignition. You won't burn anymore fuel or go faster but it will be trouble free and you get all kinds of tuning options with limiters and timing control.

Go with the Promag 12. You can't go to a good classified race car board and swing a dead cat without hitting some great deals on them.
