Find yourself a decent brand 1/2" rachet with a round handle. Get a piece of chrome moly tubing with the right size ID. Have someone with a lathe knurl the last 5" on one end for the handle and tig weld it on to the rachet. I think mine is an old Bonnie brand rachet.

We took a breaker bar type handle (cheap one) and added a rachet adapter (snap on). It gets heavy and bulky with that adapter. But I just saw a long breaker bar type rachet the other day. Made by Pro Tools, (cheap). I think it was $35 or $40. Its on my christmas list already.

    rachet roll over bar

made mine from a older torque wrench that was gave to me
    welded a 1" .058 c/m x 24" tube to it
    works like a champ
    and didn't cost hardly anything

    Titan?

I've never heard of them. But is 24" long and using it as a turn bar doesn't take that much force, so I would think it would be great.

Took the longest Craftsman swivel head 1/2" drive ratchet I could find.

    http://www.craftsman.com/shc/s/p_10...me=Ratchets&prdNo=10&blockNo=10&blockType=L10

Grabbed a 1/2" drive breaker bar.

    http://www.craftsman.com/shc/s/p_10...t+Accecssories&prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=L1

Removed the pin from the breaker bar and removed the 1/2" drive. Ground down the end of the ratchet handle to fit in to the slot of the breaker bar and welded them together.

In addition to turning the engine over with ease, I've used this to break loose some really tight or frozen parts. End to end length is 39".

Did you buy it long ago enough to wear it out yet?

I have used other Titan tools and not had any problems. I just purchased the Titan 1/2' drive extendable ratchet. Extends from 18" to 24" in 2" increments. Looks identicle to the one Summit offers other than being extendable. I really like the firm handle grip when your hands have a little oil on them.
