Need Nitro!!!old nitro.....in Florida for washing hands after doing carbon fiber work

I am wondering if there are any teams in Florida that have a gallon or 2 of old nitro laying around, It works wonders for getting carbon fiber resin of you hands....and hair.......
I'd gladly make a small trip to pick it up.

Your going to wash your hair with nitro? Probably should avoid sparks and open flames.

 

And you might want to take a peek at the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for nitro. If you do, I think you'lld change your mind....

 

wouldn't a hat be cheaper?

 

trevor just get some acetone are lacqure thinner it will be easier to find and a whole lot cheaper

Hi Guys, Just doing what I was told and it works great, no spontanius human combustion....yet....but theres always hope. Hey Jim, I know your good w/ carbon so I'll take your word for it and give that a shot.

Thanks guys, now I can finish the bodywork and make her pretty. Is it weird that whenever I hear a song about a beautiful woman I think about my car?.....

Depends how old you are,

 

Mineral spirits works for me, as long as the resin is not hard yet.

use latex gloves
cheap and your hands stay clean

 

mate got very sick working with at team as a mechanic due to Nitro/meth fuel.

Read MSDS.

As above try something else, gloves hat, hand cleaner.

Surly someone was having a joke at your expense

 

And to add when I work with glass or carbon in addition to the gloves I also use an old long sleeve flanel shirt to keep it off my hair and arms.
