Would like to hear everyones thoughts on RPM Data Logger vs. RacePak. I can't afford to buy a RacePak so I was thinking of going with a RPM. I am going to use it on a TAD.

    Any comments would help!

    Thanks Guys!

    Rpm data logger

I have been running one on my PSI screw blower/ dragster for 4 years now and it has never given me any problems, I did have a bad rpm senser when I installed it and Randy send me a new one no charge and sent me a return UPS tag for the old one !!!! that was the first time it did not cost me anything for a DOA part!!
RPM Service is 2nd to none, Randy gave me his personel Cell # when I was setting up my system and helpped me on a Sunday. For the price it is 2nd to none IMO

    Good luck

you can't go wrong with a system from RPM. all you are doing is recording data, it's not rocket science.....so why not save a few bucks and get the same results? i also agree with Butch.....service is 2nd to none. great product

    rpm

i have a rpm system on a tad and like stated above you will not have anyone top randys service or help 7 days a week, i will mention this, even though it doesnt affect me since i cant afford someone to help me tune but if you are going to email data back and forth to a hired tuner they usually want the racepak info.

    thanks don

Same with me. I bought a used system, and even though there was very little money left for him to make on it (other than the few little trinkets that were missing), he helped me get it all working over the phone, and answered all my rookie questions. Ran it all summer and have 0 complaints.

Randy told me in the first year if I sank the boat he would fix any problems with the unit no questions asked. I've had it for 2 years it gets beat up at the lake never a problem.

I wonder if RPM has a free "viewer" so this transfer of data is made easier, this is common in the CAD world and I was thinking Racpak had it?
    Does anyone know?

Viewing not a problem. I have to do it several times a year. Just download the rpm software. No license needed....as it should be.
