BBC vs hemi weight

    Anybody know the weight difference between a solid KB olds chevy 10.7 deck and a typical hemi? thanks

    The blocks weigh pretty much the same. The Big Chief style solid heads weigh about 12lbs per head more than a BAE billet. The Indy intake for a 10.7 is in aluminum only and is very heavy compared to the mag pieces offered for the Hemi engines.

    My KB weighed 460lbs mag. intake to pan w/older fuel heads.
