I run about 20# max boost, about +20 max OD.

Case-- The Blower shop has a "billet" case for their stuff. I am told it is actually an extrusion machined in and out. Most/ all other cases are cast. Is there any advantage to the "billet" (extruded/ machined) case?

Rotors-- The blower shop also has "billet" rotors. Are they also extruded, or actual billet? Is there any need for "billet" rotors in a 10-71 that only runs +20? Or are the cast rotors just fine?

OK, so, I have an 8.0 drag boat. Run 6.0 @ 1000' once a year.
    I can run 6.0 with about 20@ boost on a 500" chevy.
I cureenty have a 10-71 mooneyham that was set up for gas. It is just stretched out at the 6.0 deal. I need to make a couple of extra pounds of "insurance" bost.

I like the looks of the Blower Shop piece. It is shiny (boat stuff).
I guess I am asking if I should just update my rotors with full teflon, or spend tons of money on a blower shop piece, and if I am gaining anything but looks.
    Do I "need" billet rotors?

    Thanks

IMO and this is making a long story short...

I'd overdrive the blower a little more to get your "insurance" boost.

I doubt I can get much more out of this piece. I don't know where max is though. I guess that is what I am wondering. Being set up for gas originally it is stripped at the tips only, and not a "tight" piece.
    Thanks

Its easy, cheap and quick. If you're only looking for a little anyway, what are you out trying it?

Good point. I have the pulleys sitting there. I guess there is next year. Boat stuff is done now.
