I began bolting my littlefield 8-71 to my 526 cu i chevy. sitting on top is a enderle birdcatcher along with my the blower restraint. It seems as if the loop for the belt on the restraint is sitting directly in the way of the fuel line on the hat. Its the back arm on the driver side. my engine builder told me i had it on backwards. But for some reason, no matter which way i try and install it, it will not fit. Seems like a pretty commom setup, which maybe im just an idiot for now getting this together. But anyone else have that problem or any suggestions? This is my first blown alky motor.

Mine is the same with a BAU hat

I'm just going to put the plate in the folder and put a little angle down on the tab. We don't need a certified restraint so I don't know if that would be an issue
