    Well,.. wouldnt you know,..
Top Alcohol funny car and Top Alcohol Dragsters gets pushed down again on the food chain,...Pro Mod runs before the Alky class, and right after the fuel cars.
Top Alcohol is a long existing fathered in class and the 3rd quickets and fastest cars in all of drag racing, and now the NHRA finds that Pro Mod are more appealing and more important to run them 1st after the fuel cars.
Maybe some dont mind having them run before you, maybe you are using them as test dummies to see what the track will hold..??? either way..:(

Pro Mod is out of control,...Crash Crash Crash,.EQUALS MORE DOWN TIME

How much more Crap and BS will you TopAlky racers tolerate.....

oh and who all is parked in the mud, or dirt.

    No

NHRA had the alky cars scheduled to run before P/M until the rain delays then for some reason the P/M cars were put in front on the revamped list . Don't forget that head P/M guy pays a lot of $$$ to NHRA to race there , LOL ! .

After racing for 50 years i do realize that it is and has always been about money, money ,money... And p.m. Has the control of it over ta/fc and tad...if the p.m. Cars get any longer front overhang area on them they will have to change their name to funny p.m.( some of the new ones are 52")...... Short and sweet.......

I'm very happy. Now if I could lose some of the darn weight I'd be extremely happy.

You would be correct...There has been a rule in place limiting the overhang for quite some time now. In other words the overhang on these cars hasn't changed in a while.

After two days of rain, I say let the Pro Mods go out first and "prep the track". After all they do a better job at getting the whole surface anyway:D.
Also the F/C's have a 40" limit, so the PM's are already longer.

Gotta agree with Kurt there, but how bad was it really aside from the mud? It could be a lot worse, like the poor bastards in Stock and the Super classes who have been watching up until today. Two quals and eliminations is all you get in some divisions anyway. The mud sucks, but its a fact of life almost everywhere but Topeka, Vegas and Pomona for TA at national events.

    Think we got it bad?

I got to agree with Justin. How would you like to be a stock or super stock racer? Or any of the other super classes? I feel for those poor guys-talk about being on the outlet end of the septic system. All the entry fees and none of the racing. Wouldn't blame them if they decided to bag national events completely. It's cheaper to be a spectator. This really illustrates my opinion-if only there was another sanctioning body...... I had hopes for the IHRA but they have degenerated down to monster trucks. You are dealing with the elements. Everyone else is going through the same thing too, including those who are making the rules. I used to love to go to the Gators every other year, only one problem I went the wrong years. Spring and Fall can be "Wild Times".

I agree with Kurt...no one wants to be in the first pair. I like it when the dragsters go first. Only helps the funny cars. Come on it can't be that bad. More rubber is better especially after rain.
    thanks
