RE: Div 3 I would have bet $$ that the Stanton race would be moved to Milan so the Alky cars could compete in MI

looking through the line-up....Shouldn't they call div 5.... "East Central" now?

There is nothing "west" about ILL. Shouldn't we call that a div 3/5 th's race?

Div 2 is all done by the Gators and some of the products for new rules probably won't be available until Gainesville.If you can't be ready by Feb why bother going in the fall. you can't get 3 in home div races. PS..Will are the brake hose covers available yet? Has NHRA named a vent hose yet?

 

The brake line covering is available from MPH in Brownsburg, IN. The approved vent line is from Goodyear and you can get it from RBS or MPH in Brownsburg. There might be more approved by now for vent lines or brake covering, but the week of the change, that was what was approved.

div 6

I hope spokane will get a manager in place for the raceway. we need the divisional back here. and theres alot more the complex has to offer. looks like billings will be down as well for now. I understand the widow wants to sell it. any takers? dave, clint, bucky?

 

Div 6 is taking a beating. Spokane is without management, Billings is in the same boat and apparently so is Medford. No management means no races. At this point only three Top Alcohol events scheduled in Div 6. Dave Germain

 

My educated guess Dave is there will be two more div races counting the one that is TBA. meaning there will be 5 with alky cars. One of the big three tracks will get an extra one in my opinion.

Dean, I am surprised Mission is having a race- I thought the leaded gas thing was going to kill drag racing in Canada. Maybe Woodburn will pick up all of them. I could just leave my rig there with Jim Livingston-lol, Dave Germain

 

Rumor has it that the Canadian Government is going to extend the extension indefinately as long as the US racing associations use leaded gas. Banning leaded gas WILL kill Canadian drag racing.

 

A goverment that actually thinks and cares about its people? Im moving to Canada! by the way hows the medical

 

Okay - I am a bit biased about medical here as I work in the field. Its far from perfect and we do have long wait times, but everyone is covered and that includes the unfortunate racers that tangle with walls and other assorted hard surfaces.

Our health care premise is that everyone is treated regardless of the ability to pay. If you show up in the ER deathly ill, they won't ask you if you have coverage, they will treat you, and you won't be kicked out if they find out you can't pay the bill.

Its a good place to live even though we can't get live drag racing on TV

 

division 4?

Well if that happens, you can have it, I guess I'll just have to race a different division. Woodburn would be "the place" to race if they would just resurface it. I used to love it so much I told Jim if he would book three more match races a year I would just leave my stuff there.

 

Like cricket said, I think the fuel issues will be put on hiatus for the near future.
Jonathan has to be more decisive in major issues like Div events. there better be at least two more scehduled, or this division will be the red headed step child. Forcing competitors out of the div to get points both nationally and div wise is pure crap.

I spoke with one Spokane county commisioner. after we talked alittle he opened up to tell me he his in serious talks with someone. I wont say who for rumor control. he did assure me they want it running as well. there are those still doing the blame game and such. internal politics. Im comfortable about 2010. will see. sept in spokane is good. I hear 1.12 million will buy the acton track in MT.
