More important were his 330 and 600 incrementals 330ft-2.314, 660ft-3.445/214.89 mph He started to go away just before the 660. the 3.44 was the second quickest BAD that I have ever seen,
Perry went : 60ft-0.872 sec., 330ft-2.304 660 3.435/218 to the 1/8th when he went 5.262/265 (Perry actually went 5.255 but don't have the incrmentals for that run)
    Thacker went 5.265 with a 3.472/219 mph 660

Possible it could have been the quickest pass on the west coast. knowing that the Severance team has not run 270 and does not charge as hard down track. I would say if it held together for the 1320 it would have been a 5.26/5.27
His MPH is similar to Perry, maybe a hair faster

MBR Motors, WOW. Glad I decided to buy a MBR insted of a brad motor, just goes to show that a less common combo can turn some big numbers with the right tuneup.

....yeah but it just Didn't make it to 1320'.... That's the problem. I think the MBR Motor is awesome... don't get me wrong.... but with some fine tuning I'm sure Bob and the boys willl get that SOB to haul the mail....!!! It seems the back half has been the issue with this combo... am I wrong with this assumption????

MPH....Back half of the track. Like I said.... not an expert in this area but it seems the MPH on this set up is less than a Brad set up.... At least based on numbers I have seen.

It's a great combo. I love the potential of it.

Lots of TAFC guys running MBR have had big mph. Severance and Perry, don;t have the big budget, so don't press hard on the big end. That is where most of the carnage happens.
The motor combo is not the issue with the big speed. How many guys have gone 270 with the brad combo, 5 I think with 100 guys running it or have run it. Only a small handful are running the miner deal. (less data), it is as good.

Dean is right, look around at some of the guys running the BAE combo. They run like rockets and bring a bunch of motors to the track. I don't know that any of the current MBR users hate their stuff as much as some of the Brad users. Dave Germain

If you think Ken doesn't hurt parts you are 100% wrong...along with many others that run the MBR. MBR is a nice piece, I'm not saying it's better than Brad, or that Brad is better than MBR. The MBR is a front halfin' S.O.B., I've been up against Ken and he laid down a .901 60ft @ Bowling Green!, it then coughed the blower about 100 ft. out I believe. They run them HARD to go that fast...hell if we had our tuneup farther along, we'd hang its tongue out just the same. Whiteley, Manzo, Demke, Thacker, Kosky, and many more fly with the Brad combo (or variation of Brad combo - Marty). If you watch the guys running the Brad combo who have the setup right....they aren't putting bullets in every race. The biggest advantage to Brad is parts availability...like stated earlier a few guys have MBR. If you hurt something....you get what I'm saying.

I thought it had more to do with the clutch trying to keep up in high gear. I've been fortunate enough to see the data on a 26 pass and the only difference I could see between a 35 and the 26 is the clutch in high gear. I think all the motors make decent power, just hard to make E.T. when you're not driving the tires.

P.S.: Joey, that was unfortunate. You were on a terror of a pass!
