Just weighed my 125" altered and the rear weight was 62.9% with the driver. Is that in the ball park for an altered ? My old door car was 49.8% on the rear. The altered was 1555 without my fat a$$ in it and 1745 with me in it.

That only makes you 190, I would`nt call that fat unless you are 4 ft. tall.

Hey Jim, that's 4'2" . Just wondering if the 62.9% on the rear is normal range for an altered. I have ten gallons of fuel in front of the front tires and a radiator just behind the front tires.

We have about 70% on the rear, hooks hard, and goes straight. I realize our car is an extreme case, but your numbers seem within range

My last top alcohol funny car in 2002 had 56% with everything moved foward to keep the front down.

It had the engine at 65 out and had usual .950 60ft

Also it ran 5.92 242 mph in the 1?4

    hope this helps!
