Impact helmet and Hans attachments

I had just received a letter from Impact Racing regarding the Impact helmet I purchased from them and has the HANS attachment parts that some are
"COUNTERFEIT" (NO GOOD). You can contact Impact or the following web site to see if your's are any good.

I called HANS on Wednesday, and i got my replacement buttons on Monday. Of course, now i have to tear some lining loose in my new impact helmet to get the wrench up there to swap them out...Not real happy about it.

FYI, the 'bad' posts are made of aluminum, where the 'good' replacement posts are steel

 

just got off the phone with HANS, great people to deal with,, i still have not recieved a letter from impact,, go figure

 

I received my letter from Impact the other day also, i had called HANS last month and swapped my phoney anchors that Impact sold me with the real ones that HANS sent me. There was no charge and the people at HANS are a pleasure to deal with. I hope you rot in hell Bill Simpson!!!!

At this point anybody who buys or uses Impact products needs to get a grip.

 

I bought this helmet and anchors in 2007 before any of this sfi crap started, i also bought his -20 boots in June 2008 that have been decertified since then. I have not spent a dime on his garbage since and never will again.

I suggest you call HANS directly and talk to them, they sent me REAL HANS ANCHORS for free and i sent them back the phoney ones that Impact sold me last year.

i also called hans, should be here tommorow, just what does impacts letter say anyway? just curiouse, i bought my nitro helmet from one of there dealers so i dought i'll get a letter.( what could it possably say to make it better)
