    News Flash !!!
Just got off the phone with Timo Habberman at Santa Pod Raceway. I believe he now owns the fastest blown alcohol time slip outside the United States with a great 5.3315 in the 2nd qualifying session of the 2009 FIA European Finals. Congratulations to a great racing family.
Brother Dennis broke a pinion in the first session and missed the 2nd making repairs.
Hope you two don't have to race each other first round again this weekend.

    congrats

congrats to the Haberman team for a job well done.

I just want to vouch for the level of competition in Europe this year. It's easy to look at the numbers and think it's soft, but it's far from it. Our 5.38 at the finals put us 5th.

Winning the FIA Championship is every bit as tough as winning a Division Championship here in the States. You and your team should be proud.

Just remember when you're the champ, there's a big bullseye on your back...:D

    Bitumen ??

Will and Marty; you both forgot to mention that the only concrete around Santa Pod is the front step of the snack bar and the showers!
Pretty stout all asphalt (bitumen) track!

    Congrats Timo on the Championship.
And a salute to all the stout times at the finals!
Krister's .30's and Europe's "oldest living fossil" :D Dave Wilson's 279 and change, Peter, Rob and all, even Mats 5.98!!

I don't know if this is permitted but there are some words and pictures on DRO
    >here<, and even Mr Hanna makes an appearance ;)

TMD has been astounding in Europe this year, and I understand there are another two or three cars to appear next season.
