Valve Keepers, which do you prefer, bead locks or square groove
    For Titanium valves?
    SS Valves?

How often do you replace the keepers?

I have used the Manton radial groove lash locks since I built my hemi....never a problem with them....I do replace a pair of keepers occasionally if they get beat up from the roller and also replace a valve occasionally if the groove gets sloppy....I just keep a close watch on the bead to groove fit to make sure they are fairly tight....Noel makes the best valve train parts available!

I use the Manley LocCap system with bead locks. I haven't had a single issue with these other than they are a pain in the butt to get on and off.

The subject is "Boxers or Briefs?" When they started talking about valve keepers I thought "Sure didn't take long to get off topic."

My post was to redirect the conversation back to the original topic, that's all.

BTW, these two big guys prefer briefs:

Bob, what's a dinger? Is that some sort of chassis builder/welder terminology?
Or is it just a thing you San Diego macho guys have going on?[IMG]
