It was a great weekend. Dad has the car running great. It was just our weekend. We had some stumbles early with banging the blower on the first pass and then had the left front tire go flat at we think about 300 feet in the first round. It is hard to win when you have to race Webster, Hough, Gasparelli, And Bateman. It was like racing 4 final rounds in a row.

Great job Team Gordon! A well deserved win for a great family! And of course, if I haven't said it enough already, thank you sooooo much for loaning us your spare blower. Certainly I would have liked to join you in the Winner's Circle, but i'm not gonna get into that right now
I wanna thank Dave Germain as well. He was the first to offer us a blower. Not his spare blower, but the blower right off of his funny car! His team went through all of the time and effort to remove his blower and all of it's attached pieces, only to have Maddern realize that it wasn't going to work (quill shaft adapter incompatibilities...). Thanks for trying Dave!!!!
